موديل Xbee S2C الاشهر في مجال الاتصالات، حيث يعمل هذا المودل كمرسل ومستلم في نفس الوقت، سهل الاستخدام والبرمجة ويمكن عمل شبكة اتصالات كاملة بعدة اشكال. تقنية الـZigbee هي ربط شبكي صممت خصيصا للإستخدامات التي تحتاج إلى ربط شبكي يعمل لفترات طويلة بأستهلاك طاقة جدا قليل ومناسب لتطبيقات المتحسسات الشبكية . كذلك صممت خصيصاً للإستخدامات التي تحتاج إلى توفر الخدمة بدرجة عالية بحيث يكون هنالك بديل مباشر في حال تعطل أحد الأجهزة. وتندرج هذه قتنية الـ Zigbee ضمن المعيار (IEEE 802.15.4) وتستخدم ترددات مختلفة ضمن نطاق الـ 900MHz.
